Man robbed at knife point

A ROBBER armed with a knife forced a man to hand over during a robbery in Magherafelt.

Shortly before 9.30am on Tuesday, a man was getting into his car at Mullaghbuoy Crescent when he was confronted by the robber.

The robber forced him to hand over an undisclosed sum of money and then made off in a white car.

The victim was not hurt. The robber was wearing a grey hooded top with a scarf around his mouth. Another man may have been with him.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the men or the white car in the area is asked to contact the CID in Magherafelt.
