Milne welcomes Newferry amenities provision

MAGHERAFELT Sinn Féin councillor Ian Milne has welcomed the announcement that public toilets are to be provided at Newferry.

Mr Milne said: "I welcome the provision of toilet facilities at Newferry, a picturesque beauty spot along the River Bann which attracts a high number of tourists and visitors to our area, especially during the course of the summer months as well as watersports enthusiasts all year round.

"I commend the efforts of everyone involved in securing these much needed amenities and ask that the facilities remain free from vandalism. Those in our community who are investing much off their time on a voluntary basis to enhance tourist provision deserve all our support and gratitude."
