Minimum 25 years for Shivers

MAGHERAFELT man Brian Shivers has been sentenced to a minimum of 25 years in prison for the murders of two soldiers. He was also sentenced to life imprisonment on each of remaining counts of attempted murder fixed at 10 years. Sentences to run concurrent. The PSNI say its investigation in the murders at Masserene Army Barracks is still ongoing and have released a recording of the phone call made by the killers on the night.
