Money stolen from house

THIEVES stole a sum of money from a remote dwelling house near Magherafelt.

Police are appealing for information following the burglary at the dwelling in the Glenmaquill Road area.

The culprits entered the property sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday of last week. Anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area or who has any information is asked to contact police at Magherafelt on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
