One man critical after Tobermore crash
MAGHERAFELT police are appealing for witnesses following yesterday’s road accident in which a man was critically injured near Tobermore.
Two men were in a car which crashed on the Draperstown Road about half-a-mile from the village around 8am on Sunday.
They were both taken to Antrim Area Hospital for treatment. A 21-year-old was treated for non-life threatening injuries while a 23-year-old was transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
Anyone who saw what happened, or the car involved, a blue Honda Accord, is asked to contact Magherafelt Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
