Pedestrian crossing welcomed by McCrea

DUP MLA, Ian McCrea has welcomed the new traffic lights that have been installed on Rainey Street, Magherafelt.

“I welcome the news that new traffic lights have been installed on Rainey Street in Magherafelt. The lights have been positioned opposite the Rainey Endowed School to provide a safe crossing for pupils as well as serve the rest of the community,” he sai.

“This is good news for the school and as a former pupil I am more than aware of the need for a safer crossing and understand fully the rational for installing the lights close to the school.”
