Remembrance Day traffic diversions

POLICE are advising of traffic diversions and delays that will be in place during Remembrance Day events throughout Tyrone and on Sunday, November 11.

Many towns and villages will have events, though most are expected to be short-lasting.

One of the bigger events is likely to be in Enniskillen, where the 25th anniversary of the 1987 Poppy Day bombing will be observed.

It will include a parade to the cenotaph for 11am and then on to the Cathedral for a service. Following the service, the parade will return through the town centre.

Traffic restrictions will be in place in the Belmore Street, East Bridge Street and town centre areas during the service and parade.

Parades and commemorations will also take place Omagh, Cookstown and Dungannon, as well as a number of other locations.

Traffic flow will be restricted while parades are on the road.
