Three arrested for drugs offences

THREE people have been arrested in Magherafelt in relation to drugs offences.

Police say they were detained at Union Road in the town last Saturday.

A quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs were recovered.

A 23 year old man and a youth and girl, both aged 19, were released on bail pending further police enquiries.

Police in Magherafelt made several arrests over the weekend for drink driving and drugs offences.

Meanwhile, a man and a woman have both been charged with driving with excess alcohol in Magherafelt last Saturday and are due to appear at the local Magistrates Court on October 17.
