Two men arrested after stabbing in Cookstown

Police have arrested two men following a stabbing incident in Cookstown on Monday night.

The victim is a 33-year-old man who was stabbed at a house in Killymoon Street in the town. Police were called to the incident shortly before 10.25pm on Monday night. The injured man was taken to Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which are described as serious but not thought to be life-threatening at this stage. The two men arrested are aged 22 and 30 and are currently helping police with their enquiries.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Detectives at Cookstown on 0845 600 8000.
