Premier Theatrical Productions are returning to the Burnavon with Blood Brothers (the play) on Thursday 14th March.

FOLLOWING the success of their 2011 tour, Premier Theatrical Productions return to the Burnavon, Cookstown on Thursday 14th March with their unmissable production of Blood Brothers: The Play.

The Willy Russell classic, which stars Karl McGuckin, Blaine Nugent and Stephanie Faloon as Mrs Johnston, tells the moving tale of twins separated at birth but whose paths cross in later life.

The story takes us to Liverpool, around the time of the coal miner strikes and to a single mother, who in financial desperation gives away one of her new-born sons and attempts to keep them from discovering one another’s true identity.

Premier Theatrical Productions Sean Faloon who directed the play, says: “Blood Brothers has touched the hearts and minds of a generation of theatregoers in dealing with two of the most pressing social issues of our time - inequality and unemployment. It tells of how the pressures of superstition, economics and class trap both young men and seal their fate, and how their paths are destined to cross again in both friendship and anger with the most tragic consequences imaginable.”

A powerful and moving story which is with both lively and sad parts, Blood Brothers is a wonderful tale that will capture your heart and leave a lasting impression.

Don’t miss Blood Brothers, The Play, at the Burnavon Theatre on Thursday 14th March at 8pm. Tickets can be bought in person at the Box Office, by phone on 028 8676 9949 or online at www.burnavon.com
