Woman dies after Castledawson crash

THE woman seriously injured in this morning’s road crash, has died.

The 52-year-old was taken to hospital following the accident on the Curran Road, Castledawson, shortly after 8am.

It is understood that no other vehicles were involved. Police closed the road for a time but it has since re-opened

The PSNI at Magherafelt have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
