Woman to stand trial on wounding charge

A MAGHERAFELT woman is to stand trial accused of maliciously wounding another woman with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Karleen Marie Colton (24), of Piney Hill in the town, is alleged to have assaulted Kay Gribbon on March 31 last year.

Colton was returned, on personal bail of £500, for arraignment at Londonderry Crown Court on January 24 when she appeared at Magherafelt Magistrates Court.
