Children and staff of Magherafelt Nursery School are pictured presenting a cheque to Sarah Quinlan, Executive Officer of the ‘Children’s Heartbeat Trust’.

A total of £743.60 was raised by the school through sponsored activities. Some of the staff participated in the Belfast Marathon Walk on Monday 6th May. The children were also busy carrying out ‘Little Jobs for Little Money’ during this month. The Children’s Heartbeat Trust relies solely on public donations to maintain its services and support for families of children with heart disease in Northern Ireland.  It is currently campaigning to retain children’s heart surgery at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
