A twenty-three year-old man has appeared before Dungannonn Magistrates Court accused of child sex offences.
Mark Brown, whom the court was told had been detained under the Mental Health Act to a care facility in Co Antrim, was charged with two counts of sexually assaulting a child under 13 years of age.
The offences are alleged to have been committed between October 1, 2013, and November 10 of last year.
A PSNI Detective Constable told the hearing she believed she could connect Brown to the charges against him.
The defendant, who made no reply to the charges, was told he was not to have communication, of any nature, with children under the age of 16.
Brown was also ordered to reside only at the address given in the terms and conditions of bail. The case was adjourned by District Judge, John Meehan.
