One such shoot took place at Drum Manor Forest Park on Sunday, when Kevin McAllister of Trinity Photography NI shot ‘The Wild West comes to Cookstown’, with male model Derek Arthur Hastings James.

Derek, from ACMA Models NI, donated his time and talents for the shoot, along with stylist Lisa CB, while Henry the horse from Drum Manor also volunteered him time on the day.

Kevin was further assisted by Claire Conway, Lissan and by Henry’s owner, Samantha McLean “who polished Henry’s hooves to perfection”.

The shoot was done in association with the charity LiLAC (Life is for Living After Cancer), which was established in 2003 and has centres in Cookstown, Dungannon and Coalisland.

LiLAC helps people affected by cancer in the Mid Ulster area, providing access to high-quality cancer support services, including complementary therapies, bereavement support, hospital transportation and mastectomy support.

“Next month LiLAC is planning a photo shoot to showcase their new boutique range of clothing, which has been kindly donated by local people,” said Kevin.

“All clothing and furniture donations are kindly accepted in all three stores. Pop into any of their shops today and get inspired: Yee-haw!”
