Latest: Shooting incident in Tobermore condemned

Ulster Unionist Party Assembly candidate for Mid-Ulster, Sandra Overend, unreservedly condemn the shooting. “This sort of violence has the potential to endanger life – it is totally unacceptable and has no place in society,” she said.

“I understand that police enquiries are ongoing, and want to appeal for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the Hillmount area of Tobermore in the early hours of Thursday 28 April to come forward to the PSNI, by calling the non-emergency number 101.”
