Mid-Ulster Women’s Network launch new exciting programme

A FANTASTIC and varied range of classes and activities are now available at Mid-Ulster Women’s Network (MUWN).

Starting next week MUWN will run a new cross border course ‘Exploring New Directions’ funded by International Fund for Ireland,

The a course aimed at women who may want to try some fun activities for just a few hours one day a week.

The great thing about this course is that you will not only get to meet local ladies from across the province but its activities can be anything YOU want it to be.

The course will last 11 weeks in total, with the first three sessions kickstarting in Magherafelt on September 19th. For the following six sessions those taking part will be transported to the Diamond Centre, Claudy where participant consultation will begin.

MUWN’s last group had classes in Jewellery Making, Cooking on a Budget and Stress Management to name but a few, so the choice is yours!

Participants will also take part in some very gentle peace and reconciliation work based on fun and voluntary participation with the other ladies you will meet from Inishowen and Londonderry who have also joined the course. In addition there will be two field trips to Belfast and Derry, all for just £20 which includes travel, refreshments and materials.

If you would like to take part or know someone else who would benefit from participating in this course please contact us as soon as possible.

We will accept a maximum of 14 women onto the course from the Mid-Ulster area.
