BEAUTY queen Shaunagh Devlin who is Miss Derry City and one of the Miss Northern Ireland finalists will be judging this year’s Bonny Baby competition at their 36th Annual Vintage Rally at Springhill, Moneymore on Saturday 2 June.
Last year saw the largest ever rally to date which over 140 vintage tractors turning out along with a large collection of vintage and classic cars.
This year the rally includes vintage tractors, cars, motor cycles, stationary engines and commercial vehicles.
There will also be a large number of attractions including: pre war Austin car display, a military display of vehicles, ladies Ferguson building team, tractor pulling competition for vintage, classic and modern tractors, tractor reversing competition, threshing display.
The will also be attractions apart from the vehicles including model aircraft display, butter and bread making exhibition, a working blacksmith and pony rides, trade and craft stands as well as auto-jumbles, music by radio star country, swing boats and children’s rides and tours of the stunning Springhill house provided by the National Trust.
And of course the Bonny Baby competition which will be judged by Shaunagh. There will also be a dog show organised by Parklands veterinary clinic (dogs must be on lead).
It’s sure to be a great family day out.
Those wishing to enter vintage vehicles the entry fee is £5 per entry, this will include finishers award and a tea voucher. (Stationary Engine entrants can exhibit any number of entries for £5, however only 1 trophy will be presented).
