New appeal over Carrickmore murder attempt

DETECTIVES investigating the attempted murder of a 24 year-old man in Carrickmore, have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward.

The incident took place around 12.20am on Sunday, October 13, in the Main Street area.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the incident, and say they understand a number of people may have been exiting licensed premises at the time and may have witnessed the attack.

A 34 year-old man arrested by detectives in the case has been released on bail pending further police enquiries.
