New era for News Letter with relaunch

The News Letter now has a fresh new look bringing extra content to the paper and its associated website and tablet app.

The News Letter has a new look across a range of sections in the paper and online - news, business, features and sport, as well as their regular supplements.

The main aim is to make the paper more modern, fresher and easier to read.

A line-up of columnists bring you their particular take on the major issues of the day - Alex Kane on Monday; Chris Moncrieff on Tuesday; Robin Greer on Wednesday; Nick Garbutt on Thursday; Ian Paisley on Friday and Sandra Chapman on Saturday.

Each week the paper carries the following supplements and sections: Monday: Sports Ulster - covering rugby; local and national football; horse racing; hockey and motorcycling, to name only a few.

NLWoman, packed with interviews, fashion, beauty and retail therapy, introduces Lynda Bryans as a new columnist.

Tuesday: 12-page weekly Business section brings you the latest news, views and analysis.

Keep ‘Er Lit - an insight on motorcycling events throughout the summer season.

Tuesdays will see the introduction of a series of articles on loyal order events and personalities.

Wednesday: Farming Life introduces a new feature, The Country Woman, as well as all you need to know about the young farmers’ scene.

Thursday: introducing our new series Faith Focus in which we speak to local people involved in vital church work overseas and at home.

In addition, there’s the regular health pages, Drumbeat column, InGear motors slot and Jobs.

Friday keeps you up to date with the latest entertainment news - what’s on, where and when, plus a celebrity interview each week.

Saturday: Farming Life with its unrivalled coverage of farming will contain a new feature, The Home Place, with its dedicated coverage of community and family-driven news.

The Churches’ section each Saturday is also expanding with a new feature, Church Life, focusing on the life and times of a particular church each week.

The News Letter’s sports team provides a first-class reports and results service in Ulster Saturday Night for their tablet app audience.

All in all, so much you can’t afford to miss in the new-look News Letter.
