New Row pupils in Castledawson celebrate their First Communion

Year 4 took the next step on their faith journey at a beautiful First communion ceremony on Saturday. Many thanks to both Fr McAnerney and Fr Gates who made this such a prayerful and special occasion for everyone. The mass was enhanced by beautiful singing and music provided by the talented children of New Row, accompanied by Mrs Una McCorry. Many thanks to Miss Niamh McVey Y4 teacher for her thorough preparation of the first communicants. Thanks also to our ever-faithful Friends of New Row who along with Marie and Angela prepared and served delicious and much appreciated refreshments in the school following the ceremony.
