The Magherafelt Campus of Northern Regional College has introduced an exciting new Business and IT Level 3 programme starting this September.
This course has been designed for those students who wish to study Business and IT at A Level standard.
Entitled Level 3 Diploma in Business with Subsidiary Diploma in IT, it is a two year full time course and provides progression to Higher Education courses at Colleges and Universities.
Head of School Tony Madden explains: “The new Level 3 Business with IT course has been developed specifically to meet the demands of industry and to increase the employability skills of those students studying this course.
“The majority of administrators, first line, middle and senior managers working in organisations need to have strong IT skills to allow them to be able to effectively interpret the wide range of data and information that is presented to them on a daily basis, allowing them to make good business decisions in a timely manner.”
Mr Madden also went on to say that: “In line with this new Level 3 course, the college is currently developing a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Business with IT with the Ulster University that will allow students to progress on to Higher Education within the college, further enhancing the Business and IT skills they are developing at Level.”
Staff will be on hand at open evening to answer any queries regarding this new course on Tuesday March 3 from 4-8pm at the Magherafelt Campus. For further details log on to www.nrc.ac.uk
