Old fashioned gospel tent campaign

REV Dr William McCrea, Minister of Calvary Free Presbyterian Church, Magherafelt has announced a forthcoming Gospel Tent Campaign in Johnston’s field, Moneymore Road, Magherafelt commencing Sunday, September 2 for three weeks.

Dr McCrea said: “Many of our Christian friends as well as members of our congregation on Mullaghboy Hill have been prayng for the forthcoming Gospel Tent Campaign and together we are excited that the Lord has once again given us this wonderful opportunity to spread the glorious gospel of redeeming grace.

“Earlier this year Mr Ryan McKee and myself had a blessed time reaching souls for Christ in our gospel campaign at Castledawson and through his effort several souls were gloriously saved and are pressing on with the Lord.

“The Holy Spirit came down among us and once again stirred within God’s people a real hunger to reach many more for the Saviour.

“We announced then our plans for a further gospel campaign in Magherafelt and after prayer we invited Rev Reggie Cranston, Port Hope, Canade to be our guest evangelist. Rev Cranston is a renowned preacher of the gospel and was mightily used of the Lord during a gospel campaign in our church a few years ago.

“Mr Cranston will preach the three week ‘Gospel Campaign’ in a tent to be erected, Moneymore Road, Magherafelt. The Campaign will commence on Sunday, September 2 at 7pm and will be blessed with good gospel preaching and old time gospel singing. It is our earnest prayer that the Lord will visit us with the spirit of revival and that the Magherafelt District will enjoy a touch of heaven on earth.

“Everyone is welcome to these meetings and we extend a hearty invitation to all throughout our district. We earnestly value the continued prayers of God’s people for this special time of gospel opportunity.”
