The Scheme sees each group of kids whisked from one activity to another. The only thing to slow them down is their need to stop for a well-deserved refreshment break!

If the mouthfuls of water do not cool the children down the water based activities and the ‘Twister’ Waterslide certainly will! Parents please note that your child must be eight years old to participant in the pool sessions and swimming/height restrictions apply to the ‘Twister’.

The Scheme is for all children aged 5 -11 and is as popular as ever with a large number attending in the opening weeks. Cookstown Leisure Centre Summer Scheme 2014 runs Monday – Friday for one more week until the 15th August with two sessions daily: 10.30am – 1.00pm and a 1.30pm – 4.00pm. Costing £2.65 per session or £9.45 per child for 5 sessions that may be used any time during the Scheme, it really does represent great value for money.

As you all know children are never shy about making their feelings perfectly clear. As such the Scheme organisers have tailored their offerings to include; Indoor Football, Dodge Ball, Table Tennis, Basketball, Uni Hockey, Volleyball, Badminton, Playshack, Treasure Hunt’s, Ten Pin Bowling, Dance Mats, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, Swimming and Flume Sessions in addition to organised games and activities such as Time Bomb, Duck Duck Goose, Crusts and Crumbs.
