Police appeal after dog knocked down by vehicle in Cookstown

Police in Cookstown investigating an accident in which a dog was knocked down on Monday evening have made an appeal for witnesses.

Constable Fra McIlduff said: “The RTC happened on Saturday, April 18th on the Drum Road and as part of our investigation we are now seeking witnesses.

“It was reported that at around 6.10pm a dog had been knocked down. Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
