PSNI appeal after Draperstown crash

THE Magherafelt Road outside Draperstown has re-opened following yesterday’s crash involving a lorry and van.

Four people were injured in the accident at Altagoan Bridge, a mile from the town, and three were taken to hospital.

Police say none of their injuries are life threatening at this stage.

The road was closed due to heavy lifting equipment being required to clear the scene.

Police in Magherafelt are appealing for information about the accident which happened around 5.10pm on Wednesday.
