Castledawson
THE Castledawson and District Branch of the Royal British Legion has been gathering information on local poeple who lost their lives in the World Wars and in subsequent conflicts.
The information has been collated from members of the Castledawson, Bellaghy and Knockloughrim communities, and the surrounding district.
The branch is hoping to publish to a booklet which is based on this research, and which will include the names, details, letters and photographs of those who have made this supreme sacrifice.
Family members have kindly lent items for the project, and grateful thanks goes to them and to all those who have offered help with this project.
