Scenic treasure hunt
Draperstown
A LEISURELY drive along scenic minor roads in the Sperrins and Moyola Valley is in store for those who take part in a treasure hunt on the evening of Friday, July 4.
The starting point will be the Sixtowns Meeting House in Cavanreagh, which is about four miles from Draperstown - to find it, almost three miles from Draperstown, on the Omagh road (B47), turn right towards Plumbridge.
At the next Give Way, incline left and the Meeting House will be located on the left.
Cars will leave for the treasure hunt from 7pm and participants are encouraged to start early, as all entries have to be returned before 10pm.
The entry fee is 5 per adult and all proceeds will go towards the maintenance of this historic 19th Century building.
Refreshments will be available at the end of the evening and prizes will be awarded.
