Sixtowns Carol Service

Draperstown

ON the evening of Thursday 20 December, it is hoped that the little meeting house at Cavanreagh, Draperstown will host its annual carol service.

This event is usually very well supported by those who enjoy a traditional service of worship in these intimate surroundings with gas lights, long bench seats and pedal organ.

After the short service of lessons and carols there will be some musical entertainment and refreshments.

First time visitors are advised that, because of the lack of modern facilities, visitors should wear warm, comfortable clothing and perhaps a torch might also be useful.

There will be a retiring offering which will go towards the upkeep of the building. The service starts at 8pm and everyone will be made most welcome.
