SWC Student Kevin An Example To Others

ANYONE thinking about a change of career or re-entering the education system would do well to follow the example of South West College student Kevin Reynolds.

Kevin entered South West College two years ago as a mature student and this September will take up a place in the University of Ulster studying Architecture.

Delighted with his success Kevin said: “I was given a fantastic opportunity at South West College. I spoke with Director, Malachy McAleer several times and found him to be very approachable and encouraging.

“The tutors who taught me on this coursee gave me the knowledge and confidence to perform well in my studies. I am especially grateful to William Young and Fiona Brazil for their belief in me.

“I arrived as a mature part-time student and was given the opportunity by William Young to study full-time in second year and now I have graduated and am going to pursue my deam of becoming an architect.”

As a result of his qualification at South West College, Kevin was offered a place at both Queens and the University of Ulster studying architecture.

He has accepted advanced entry (Year 2) in University of Ulster, York Street and begins next month.
