Sympathies expressed to councillor on death of sister

MEMBERS of Cookstown District Council have expressed their sympathy to Ulster Unionist councillor Trevor Wilson on the recent passing of his sister.

Chairman Tony Quinn extended deepest sympathies on behalf of Cookstown District Council to Councillor Wilson on the recent death of his sister Libby.

Members stood for a one minute silence as a mark of respect.

Councillors McAleer offered his sympathies to councillor Wilson, with councillors McCrea, Clarke and Quinn offering their sincere condolences on behalf of each of their respective parties.

Councillor Wilson thanked everyone who contacted him, sent sympathy cards and messages of condolences.

Council agreed that a card and letter of sympathy are forwarded to Councillor Wilson and his family.
