Ballinderry players Aaron Devlin, Michael Conlon and Gareth McKinless have been suspended for a year following the disturbances at the recent Derry county football final, the BBC has reported.
The disturbances broke out after Slaughtneil’s last-gasp goal to win the match.
In addition to the trio being banned for 12 months, Ballinderry’s pitch will be closed to adult games for a year.
The BBC report states that Collie Devlin and James Conway have received one-match championship bans.
“Derry’s GAA disciplinary authorities are also understood to have handed bans to several supporters arising from the post-match disturbances at Celtic Park.,” the report reads.
Ballinderry will have the right to appeal all the suspensions and the pitch closure.
