Resurfacing of Kiltyclogher Road welcomed locally

Resurfacing works that have improved a section of the Kiltclogher Road have been welcomed locally.

After talks with TransportNI in relation to the road, Mid Ulster UUP councillor Mark Glasgow said: “I am pleased to confirm a section of resurfacing has been carried out on the Kiltyclogher Road under the RRI initiative which has also repaired the potholes.

“On a daily basis I contact TransportNI regarding road defects and I am pleased that the work has been completed and addressed the issues on this part of the road as it is a vital link to and from the Village of Sandholes both for local businesses and local farmers.

“Maintaining our rural roads is extremely important and I will continue lobbying for further funding to go towards our rural roads network as it is vital they are maintained to a safe and drivable standards.
