‘Twelfth’ travel diversions

MAGHERAFELT police have issued advise to motorists in the South Derry area for the Twelfth holiday period.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) there will be a parade in the Leckagh Estate area from 6pm - 8pm. No roads will be closed but diversions will be in place. Please advise motorists to avoid the area.

There will be a parade around Maghera Town Centre on Wednesday night 11th July from 9pm - 23.30pm. No roads will be closed but diversions will be in place. Please advise motorists to avoid the area.

There will be a parade around Castledawson Town Centre on Wednesday night 11th July from 9pm - 23.30pm. No roads will be closed but diversions will be in place. Please advise motorists to avoid the area.

There will be a parade around Tobermore Town Centre on Wednesday night 11th July from 8.30pm - 23.00pm. No roads will be closed but diversions will be in place. Please advise motorists to avoid the area.

On Thursday morning (July 12) rural feeder parades will gather in Magherafelt between 9am - 11am. The return parades are expected back in the area between 5pm - 6.30pm. No roads will be closed but diversions will be in place. Please advise motorists.

Also, the main Twelfth parade will take place in Tobermore between. 11.30am - 7pm. No roads will be closed but diversions will be in place between the hours of 11am - 1pm and 3pm - 5pm. Please advise motorists to avoid the area during these times.
