Two men – one of whom is a teenager - have been committed for trial in relation to multiple alleged drugs offences.

Appearing for a preliminary enquiry before East Tyrone Magistrates Court was Richard Moody (32) from Whinfield Walk, Carrickfergus and Matthew Andrew Taggart (18) from Carnmore Lodge, Enniskillen who are jointly charged with possessing and intending to supply the Class A drug amphetamine and the Class B drug cannabis.

Taggart is further accused of possessing and intending to supply a second Class A drug, cocaine. All matters relate to an alleged detection in Dungannon on March 13 2014.

A prosecution lawyer contended there is a case to answer. District Judge John Meehan remanded Moody and Taggart on £200 bail each and ordered them to appear for arraignment at Dungannon Crown Court sitting on December 9.
