Video: A literary giant is laid to rest

SEAMUS Heaney was a literary giant but he was also a family man and his burial in Bellaghy on Monday reflected his close connections with South Derry and East Tyrone.

He was laid to rest in a tree shaded corner of St Mary’s graveyard beside his parents, sister Ann and little brother Christopher for whom he wrote his most famous poem Mid-Term Break.
