An explosion has been reported at a suspected illegal distillery in Ardboe, thought to be linked to the local parish priest.
It is the latest in a series of incidents which has sent shockwaves across the sleepy lough shore community.
Earlier this year, Fr McCartan was arrested in connection with a robbery on the local credit union.
The recent crime wave is all part of the Parish Jailbreak Campaign to raise funds for much needed repairs to the church.
Around 40 Parishioners from across Ardboe and Moortown have vowed to spend a night at Crumlin Road Gaol in Belfast, and each raise £2,000 sponsorship, to go towards replacing the roof on Ardboe church, along with other repairs.
