Members of Magherafelt Branch of the Royal British Legion held the first of their two Poppy Day parades in Magherafelt this morning.
Despite the overcast conditions, it remained dry for those taking part in the parade through the town centre to Union Road Presbyterian Church where the Act of Remembrance and wreath-laying took place.
Several hundred spectators lined the route of the parade which was accompanied by Aughagaskin Flute Band.
This evening the RBL Branch will hold their second parade and Service of Remembrance in Tobermore.
Remembrance parades and services are also taking place in Cookstown, Castledawson and Maghera.
