VIDEO: ‘Keep Business Local’ campaign launched in Magherafelt

A ‘KEEP Business Local’ campaign has been launched in Magherafelt aimed at supporting small business.

It was very successful with more than 100 delegates in attendance. The event was organised by the Mid Ulster Group, a collective of local small to medium firms who have come together to promote local skills. The Guest speaker was Heather McKeown from the Department of Employment and Learning who outlined all that’s available for employers re-grants and training.

The main premise of this initiative is to provide a forum and support for all the small businesses in Mid Ulster.

Group spokesperson Damian Walls said they also have plans to compile a Mid-Ulster directory of businesses.
