The Christmas Market has attracted thousands of visitors to the south Derry town during its five-year history.

Surveys have shown that footfall in local businesses increased while it was taking place - boosting the local economy.

This year the market - running from Friday, November 28 until Sunday (November 30), will include the traditional Christmas lights switch on.

There will also be free car parking in the main parks in Magherafelt from Thursday (November 27) until Sunday.
