THE Mid-Ulster Vintage Vehicles Club is holding its 37th Annual Vintage Rally at Springhill, Moneymore on Saturday (June 1).
The event will again be organised under the Authority of The A.O.V.C. in N.I.Ltd. Last year saw one of the largest ever displays of vehicles to date.
This year the rally includes vintage tractors, cars, motor cycles, stationary engines and commercial vehicles.
There will also be a large number of attractions including a pre war Austin car display, a military display of vehicles, a David Brown tractor display throughout the years and a tractor pulling competition for vintage, classic and modern tractors.
There will also be a tractor reversing competition, a threshing display, a model aircraft display, a butter and bread making exhibition, a working blacksmith and trade and craft stands as well as auto-jumbles.
There will be music by Radio Star Country, tours of the stunning Springhill House provided by the National Trust, a bonny baby competition, a dog show organised by Parklands Veterinary Clinic (dogs must be on lead), swing boats and children’s rides.
Those wishing to enter vintage vehicles the entry fee is £5 per entry, this will include finishers award and a tea voucher. (Stationary Engine entrants can exhibit any number of entries for £5, however only one trophy will be presented).
