Women face Tesco Cookstown shoplifting charges

Two women have appeared before East Tyrone Magistrates Court on charges of shoplifting from Tesco, Cookstown.

Jolita Draskiniene (38) from Hillcrest Manor and Lina Petrosiute (27) from Moyraverty Court, both in Craigavon are each accused of having a foiled-lined shoulder bag for use in theft on July 15.

Draskiniene is further accused of stealing razor blades and toothbrush refill heads to the value of £99, whilst Petrosiote is also accused of stealing electric tooth brushes totalling £239.98.

Deputy District Judge Gerry Trainor remanded both women on £100 bail each and banned them from entering Tesco, Cookstown and have no contact with each other.

The case is due back in court on September 12.
