Memorial night for Cookstown gentleman Leslie Hall raises £1,200 for hospital unit
Singer Curtis Magee and Eileen Wilson and Agnes McCracken from Cookstown Royal British Legion are seen presenting a cheque for £1200 to Aaron & Patricia Hall for the Intensive Care Unit at The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.
The money was raised at a special tribute dance held at The RBL Club in Cookstown, in memory of Leslie Hall who was their Entertainments Manager.
All the artistes and bands who had played for Leslie through the years came together for what proved to be a very special evening.
Curtis adds: “Leslie was held in high esteem by all the artistes who played for him, the hall was packed to capacity and this huge sum of money is a fitting tribute to a gentleman.”
