Summer Reading Challenge events at Magherafelt Library

Children reading

Children reading

Magherafelt Library will be hosting 3 Summer Reading challenge events throughout July and August to encourage and inspire families participating in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge 2014.

The first event will take place on Wednesday 23 July at 11:00am and will last for 30 minutes. Storytime is open to children between the ages of 4-8 years; this event will introduce children to the wonders of stories. This is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed environment while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

The second session Rhythm and Rhyme will take place on Monday 4 August at 11:30am and will last for 30 minutes. This session will introduce children between the ages of 4-8 to the wonders of books, rhymes, songs and stories. The final session is a crafts session on Friday 8 August at 11:00am for children between the ages of 4-8, this will last for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Booking is essential for these sessions; please contact library staff to book, as spaces are limited. You don’t have to be a library member to attend this session, but why not consider joining the library and using some of the other services available. It is free to join!

To book your space, please contact: Magherafelt Library, Tel: 02879632278 or Email: magherafelt.library@librariesni.org.uk
