THE Jungle, Moneymore recently hosted Northern Ireland’s first ever charity Zombie Run in aid of the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.
The fun run proved a huge success, attracting visitors from across Northern Ireland to The Jungle’s enchanting forest which was transform into a post-apocalyptic world where Zombies lurked in wait of lives to steal from a host of unsuspecting adventure runners.
Prizes were awarded on the day for those runners who managed to make it back with the most lives. The
winners were Ruth Roulston (Dromore, Co Tyrone), Hannah Webb (Belfast) and Mark Loughridge (Carrickfergus, Co Antrim).
The Jungle are pleased to announce the event generated £2, 278.57 for the NICFC and will go directly to benefit children and young people affected by cancer in the local area.
