PRO for Cookstown no3 Orange District, Trevor Wilson has welcomed news of the introduction of a scheme offering compensation for attacks on Orange Halls.
"This is long overdue," he said. "But thankfully there hasn't been too many incidents in this area."

The Secretary of State intends to publish draft legislation and a consultation paper to amend the existing law.

The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland has welcomed the move, which they say will make it easier to claim for damage to property.
