BOTTOM of the league Moyola Park slumped to yet another heavy defeat last Saturday at the hands of Ballinamallard.

The Castledawson outfit appeared to be improving when they took on Brantwood a few weeks back.

But their season
took yet another nosedive when they made the long trip to County Fermanagh.

Moyola allowed the home side to take the initiative and were punished, conceding three goals in the first half.

Ross Elder, who was making his debut for the South Derry side in place of injured Lee Workman, pulled one back to give them some hope going into the second half.

Ballinamallard increased the pressure after the restart and keeper Martin Rea pulled off some superb saves to keep his side in the match.

Michael Cooke also defended well but the home side eventually broke through and bagged three more goals before the final whistle.

Moyola face another tough match this Saturday when they play PSNI in the league at home.

They will be hoping to regain some of the form they displayed against Brantwood, only go one better and get some points.
