SOCCER: Monaghan named new Sky Blues manager

THE new management teams for 2009/2010 are as follows:
Firsts - manager Sean Monaghan; coach Brian Martin.

U21s/reserves - manager Brian Beattie; coach Rodney Hasson.

Athletic - manager Ciaran O'Neill; coaches Gerrad Kelly and Ryan McErlaine.

U16s - manager Paul Gribben; coaches Joe Mulholland a
nd Declan O'Neill.

U14s - manager Enda Taylor; coach Mickey McGrogan.

U12s - manager Glenn Robinson; coach Tommy O'Neill.

Training resumes next Tuesday (July 7) at 7.15pm at Parkmore playing fields for the three senior sides.

The U16s, U14s and U12s training will resume in August.

Mini soccer

THE mini soccer centre is now closed until Saturday, August 1.

There is an IFA Fun Week at Spires Park starting on Monday July 20 to Thursday July 23. To book a place ring Brian Hutchinson on 07595543835.

When it returns in two months there will be three youth sides - U16s, U14s and U12s.

If you know anyone interested in playing please get in touch. To be eligible to play you need to be born after the following dates: U12s, players born on or after January 1 1998; U14s players born on or after 1 January 1996; U16s players born on or after January 1 1994.

Club draw

CLUB Sky Blues the Monthly Development Draw takes place next Monday (July 6). Mickey Devlin (Killowen) will be collecting the draw money.
