Pre-season results
Results of last Saturday’s pre-season friendlies: Sky Blues 6 Fivemiletown 2; Sky Blues Reserves 6 Fivemiletown Reserves 0; Cookstown Olympic Reserves 1 Sky Blues Athletic 4.

The first team had a convincing victory over Fivemiletown at Spires Park
with McGuckin hitting a hattrick and Larkin Brady and Walls scoring the others.

Reserve side scorers were Beattie (2), Kerr, Brown, Niblock and McKay.

The Athletic team travelled to Cookstown for their friendly and Diamond bagged all four.

McGroggan Cup

THE first team will play Tobermore United in the McGroggan Cup at Draperstown Celtic ground on Thursday, July 31.

Linfield date

SKY Blues will know this week the date of the Linfield coming to officially open Spires Park. Full details next week, or check out the website www.skybluesfc.net which is sponsored by Advance Systems.

Club merchandise

A SELECTION of club merchandise, including jackets, jumpers, training T-shirts, kitbags, scarves and hats are now available at Sportique, Magherafelt.

Soccer school

IFA Nutty Krust Summer Soccer School is being held at Spires Park this week.

The mini soccer centre returns next Saturday (August 2) between 10am and 11am. £1.50 per child.
