This Saturday, at 7pm in Croke Park, Meath GAA Senior Football team, sponsored by Tayto Park, take on Tyrone, sponsored by Hunky Dorys in the All Ireland Senior Championship series round 4 qualifier.
Not only will this match see two superb senior football teams gohead-to-head but it will also be the ‘Clash of the Crisps’ as both Tayto Park and Hunky Dorys come from the same Largo Foods stable.
Crisp fans at Croke Park are in for a real treat. Raymond Coyle, founder of Largo Foods and Tayto Park, announced today that 20,000 bags of Tayto Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Smokey Bacon crisps as well as Hunky Dorys Cheese and Onion, Buffalo and Salt and Vinegar crisps will be handed out to supporters as they make their way to the grounds for the match on Saturday.
Raymond (Coyle) will be sitting on the fence on Saturday, as he owns both Tayto Park and Hunky Dorys. In fact, Raymond is so torn, he was pictured wearing his specially commissioned split Tyrone/Meath GAA jersey.
Raymond Coyle said today, “It promises to be a great clash on Saturday and despite my torn loyalties given these two fantastic sponsorships, both Tyrone and Meath fans are sure to witness a great match as well as getting their hands on thousand of bags of Tayto and Hunky Dorys crisps on the day”.
